19.01 - 28.01.2014 toimub rahvusvaheline õppevisiit "Discover the Youth Work in South-Estonia!" Eestisse, mille raames tulevad noorsootööga Valgamaale ja Põlvamaale tutvuma Makedoonia, Albaania, Serbia, Bosnia ja Herzegovina, Itaalia, Portugali ja Poola noorsootöötajad ja noortejuhid. Lisaks välismaalastele on projektist osa võimalus võtta ka kuuel Eestis noortega töötaval inimesel - eelisjärjekorras soovime kaasata noortega töötavaid inimesi, kellel varsem kogemus programmiga Euroopa Noored puudub või on väga väike, kes tahaksid leida välispartnereid, et algatada oma noortega uusi projekte ning kes on uudishimulikud selles osas, kuidas teised noorteorganisatsoonid Eestis töötavad ja millised on nende head kogemused. Õppevisiidil osalemine on tasuta (majutus, toit, koolitus, ringisõidud), samuti kaetakse 70 % osalejate sõidukuludest oma kodukohast projekti toimumise kohta (projekt toimub Vidrikese puhkemajas Otepää lähistel). Lisaks tegevustele kohapeal toimub mitmeid erinevaid väljasõite Põlvamaal, Valgamaal ja Tartumaal. Kandideerimiseks tuleb ära täita ANKEET Hetke seisuga (14.01) on veel kaks vaba kohta! Projekt on rahastatud programmi Euroopa Noored raames (http://euroopa.noored.ee) ning tegu on õppevisiidiga (alaprogramm 4.3).

Projekti kirjeldus inglise keeles:
Youth in Action 3.1.2 study visit "Discover Youth Work in South-Estonia!" will bring together 27 youth workers from 8 countries. There will be four programme countries: Estonia, Poland, Italy and Portugal and 4 South-East Europe countries: Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania. Project will last for 8 days: 19.01-28.01.2014 and takes place in Valga and Põlva county in South-Estonia.
The objectives of the study visit are:
• To understand the youth work reality in South-Estonia
• To explore the use of formal and non-formal education in South-Estonia
• Exchange experiences and good practices between youth workers from rural areas
• Creating opportunities for international partnerships for youth, youth workers and youth organizations in particular in rural areas of South Estonia
• Create partnerships and new links between South-East Europe and European Union countries with focus on international youth exchanges and EVS projects
• Promote use of non-formal education opportunities in rural areas
• Develop new projects in framework of Youth in Action (Erasmus+) programme
The activities will include visits to different youth organizations, schools, local governments, youth centers in Valga and Põlva county, but also workshops and other events. All methods will be non-formal, such as work in groups, role-plays, study visits, open space etc. Study visit will be facilitated by international team of trainers and supported by organizing team from Estonia.
Profile of participants:
- 18 + years old
- Are able to work and communicate in English
- People working with young people in rural areas or small towns on daily basis (youth workers, teachers) - priority will be given to youth workers and youth leaders from Põlva and Valga county, who have no or little experience with Youth in Action programme
- Are interested in sharing their experience in youth work and curious about youth work reality in other organizations in Põlva and Valga county
- Motivated to create new Youth in Action projects and are actively looking partners for this
